Stating the obvious...

....and this is just because I wanted to share something that made me laugh so hard I forgot that I had just been stung by a very big black bug!

Actually, there's a tear in the fabric of time and crossing the barrier takes you back into the twenties when a good highway looked like this. Good find!

Hawaii??? I know a couple of places on the Big Island that are like that. Oahu used to have a few of them too.
