Glow

I just love the shape of the ice in this shot. The sun was reflecting behind this small ice sculpture. I did do some pp: made the background totally black to emphasize the ice.

@Dawn Sutherland: Thank you Dawn. The background had originally been the green grass below where the melt was flowing and I just found it distracting from the shape of the ice.

Fabulous!!! I love the light and the little pieces of stems or leaves (?) in the ice! The black background is perfect!!! : )

@Jen: Thanks Jen... you macro nut you. The little pieces are spruce pine needles which just litter the ground around our house as we are surrounded by spruce trees.
