Colourful reflections..

Still waiting for spring..

I took this shot last fall on an absolutely beautiful day. Although the beaver swimming through the shot is silouetted, I still thought he did lend a certain depth to the overall effect of the image.

Super reflections Amy. The vertical colours in the water are like a painting.

Wow, Beavers in your backwoods.......They became extinct here in England about 500 years ago and have had to be reintroduced (in 2005).

@Richard_Irwin: Hey Richard! Beavers, deer, moose, fox, coyote, the occasional elk, lynx, and cougar, oh & sometimes bear... it's a bloody plethora but they usually hide when I go stomping through the bush. Mind you, this morning, as my husband and I were sitting on the deck drinking our coffees (as the sun broke out today and actually warmed up to +16 YAHOO) a fox went strolling by us then into the bush. I was so gobsmacked I couldn't even think to get my camera!!! ;-) Thanks!!!
