Reverse Orthodox

I'm doing a little series on religious icons. These shots are from the day with Roberta. We covered a lot of miles and saw so many opportunities as there are some wonderful old cemeteries and orthodox churches in rural Eastern Alberta. These are my interpretations of what we saw.

Funny, I just tried this process this evening, didn't really have a good image for it, yours worked out well. I guess its all in what image you choose.

@Rene: I suppose it could be that.. I was just trying to get the crosses white and the building black to show good and evil. But I used the curves adjustment in ps not the inverse function. Does that help!

@Jen: Hey Jen!! Really glad you like it. I used the curves adjustment in ps and just kept pushing the envelope 'till I got this.

That's quite a statement you are making! The crosses really jump out at you. I like the depth of this image too - with the hint of tree on the right.

The crosses worked out really well inverted. Have you since tried any Photoshop filters on the image by the way, this might bring out new and interesting ideas to play with.
