This was actually another one of my "drive by shootings Alberta style" shots. These geese were standing on the side of the road so Roberta slowed down her truck as we approached them, I rolled down the window with camera aimed and ready, and as the geese waddled down to the water filled ditch I started clicking away. Looks like they should be on a lake, eh? ;-)

Nice shot Amy and lovely reflections, very well capture. Lucky you didnt go too near to shoot another macro of its head or something to push me... hehehe... Keep a distance of 5 ft or more form your subjects until i get my macro lens LOL ;-)

Bronzebilly hit the nail on the head - I've been thinking you had a daft blog name for someone as smart as you are! Another great shot - and, yes I would have thought they were on a lake - the reflections and detail are phenomenal. I am having to have a look back at these photos because I guess I am getting too damn old to get round all of them each day - getting slower you know! :)

@Anne: Ok, now I'm going to have to put this one in my favourites!!!! The reason I call it cute but stupid is that whenever I stick my foot in mouth (which is often as I also refer to myself as having athlete's tongue) or make a mistake at work, I say I'm cute but stupid and it usually gets me out of trouble.. usually. Thanks so much for such a wonderful comment .. and I get it about not being able to keep up with everyone's photos.. it's like a full time job... and there are sooo many amazing shots!!
