Wild Clematis

This was taken during my long weekend away. I went to Fish Creek Park in Calgary with my brother-in-law, who is also an avid photographer, and niece, a budding photographer, to do some shooting. This is one of the shots I took. The wind was blowing and no, Rahul, I didn't have my tripod... I forgot the dang thing. But sometimes patience can win out.

I want to thank everyone for visiting and commenting while I was gone!!! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Will now once again keep up..

@bronzebilly u.k.: Big thanks!!! And lucky you!! I've tried to grow clematis but no luck. They are a very picky plant in our climate here in Rocky. Wait 'till tomorrow's post... I think I out did myself...

I can appreciate the skill and patience in shooting flowers in the open and this is a fine hand-held shot indeed. The need to use a small aperture actually works with the reduced DoF working its magic on the flower.
