Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

Another good one, funny how your hands seem to hold your head ;)

@Manuela Photography: LOL Manuela! The aberation of the chrome reflection does make me look like I'm in a funhouse mirror room... Thanks!!
Ha ha! You in your jeans, sleeeveless T, with big camera, big knees= big shot! Very nice - a personal favorite for me!

@Sidonie: Hey Sidonie!! I just had to be in the shot!! LOL Really glad you like it so much. ;-D
Brilliant shot and Funny ! ;)

@Kheoh Yee Wei: Thanks so much!! It's that funhouse mirror thing happening... makes beauties like myself more ordinary... LOL ;-D
FABULOUS shot Amy!!! I absolutely love the details on the car and the chrome and the fact you can see you squatting down to get that GREAT shot : D

@Jen: Yeah, squatting in awkward positions so I didn't have to kneel on the very hot pavement... man it was a warm day!! I thought it was cool, too, because of all the different reflections on that one little hinge for the old truck's box gate. Thanks Jen... ;-D
nice one

@KM Faisal: Thanks KM!! ;-)
Hey I can see you! Hi, Amy! I like this chrome series very much. It makes me focus on so many details reflected.

@Behrooz: Hi Behrooz!! That's what I was aiming for (pun intended, heeheehee)... there are so many nuances with the chrome on these vehicles. The new vehicles just don't have the chrome the old ones had... Thanks so much Behrooz!! ;-)
Nice series Amy. I'm wondering if you tried some shots using a smaller aperature to get great DOF? Tthis one has a feeling of motion to it with the shallow DOF, but I'd like to see one with greater DOF for comparison. I'm back from holidays (as you can probably tell by my posting!).

@Roberta: Hey Roberta!!! I thought this was the smallest ap when I took the shot... oh, you know me, probably wasn't paying as close attention as I should have been. Typical. But with these shots I have been trying so hard to set my ap for the dof... hmmmm.. And I'm glad you liked my series. It was kind-of a brain storm when we got to the car show! ;-)
I really like the way the reflection adds so much more detail to the image. It is like two different stories, the one about you a kind of self portrait, and the shape and colour of the rest of the image as the other.
Oh and thanks for passing by and leaving me comments on my blog whilst I have been away. I'm back now, and enjoying looking through everyones blogs again.

@Richard_Irwin: Welcome back Richard!! Hope the placid cruise down the river was as great as it looked like it should've been.
Thanks for the great comment!! I really appreciate knowing exactly what it is that you specifically are drawn to in the image... ;-)
hey cutes--the best shot yet--this is a very interesting series--shows what you are capable of by trying somethin diff..great reflection in the chrome again--see, I can be complimentary--o.k.nurse I'm coming--billy

@bronzebilly u.k.: See? I knew those meds were working!!
You are a great source of encouragement... some would call that a crutch.. I just say naw, it's billy!!
I'm going to stop with this series for now.... I really want to post a couple more but I think it's run it's course. Am going to post some far-out (well actually one) image that's a little billy-esque. Imitation is the best form of flattery dontchya know...
Cool series, Amy. Have you thought about doing macro shots of the same subject(s)? From my experience, they are SENSATIONAL as they offer an askew perspective that takes quite some time to comprehend.

@Sash: Truth to tell Sash... I was using my macro/micro lens but I think I get what you're saying. And yeah, a much closer view would be very interesting... hmmm... I'm sure there'll be another car show I'll be going to and will try again and see what happens. Thanks for that Sash! Good idea.. ;-)
