I just love the mood of this image. Yes the gull is out of focus... for reason. I used a few different processes for this but the final process was Draganising.

Love your "Orton" shots Amy! Thanks for waking me up to it. I did a google search and have been experimenting with it so I'll post afew myself next week, once I've finished with the fountains series. It really does add a dreamy effect to the images doesn't it!

Nice shot Amy! Very resourceful and goo thinking of your part. My latedt photo wad the same problem so i played around in PS to make up for it.

Hi Amy. You certainly like your "post production". I am a bit of a traditionalist... but I do think the shot is wonderfully observed and composed. The differential focus on the water works really well and the colour contrast between the magpie and the water perfect. Mike
