Sunflower 1

Just taking a break from my "what I did on my vacation" shots. I took this shot last night after watering my flower gardens. Standing there I realized that my sunflowers were blooming and that maybe I had better have a kodak moment...

beautiful capture, using the correct exposure you cud have highlighted the centre part of the flower as well...

@Babul Bhatt: Thanks Babul!! Really appreciate the comment... but I was really just going for the petals and the centre part of the flower was shot just for contrast. ;-)

I love this different take on the sunflower ... you have captured its beauty by stripping away the yellow that usually stealsl the eye from the details. Great job!

Amy, I love this take on the sunflower. I agree with Raye, I like that the yellow is stripped it makes the shot more delicate. I love the contrast between the petals and the center. Superb!!!
