Red Headed Sap Sucker

This little delightful creature is not the sharpest tool in the shed. For what ever reason he kept pecking at the chimney of this chimnea in my yard... at all hours.. day or night... did I mention it was annoying?

I'm gone for the weekend so won't be able to check in with anyone. Will catch up again on Monday. Have a great weekend!!

FANTASTIC capture there girl!!!!
I had a bird tapping at the brass kickplate on my front door the other day...drove my cats nuts LOL!!! Guess it was the reflection.

@DTW: It is funny... when it's someone else!! LOL One year one of these little buggers thought our roof (which is metal, thank you very much) needed some pecking. ... at about 5am for a couple weeks.. like clock work.
