Wow! Cool action! This and the yesterday's. Well no fish, maybe next time. BTW, yes it's now tomorrow here. I decided not to break the news today, but (keep it secret :D) I'm upgrading!

@Behrooz: Hey Behrooz!! I'll keep your secret... can't wait tho'. Thanks for comment. I can't tell you how jazzed I am about these shots... kind-of a life long dream to catch this kind of wild life image. ;-)
Cool action shot, and the framing here works real good... nice work.

@Michael Rawluk: Thanks Michael!!! You know, I have no idea where his nest was, but I don't think he went hungry. There were about 3 more lakes within about a couple miles to this lake. The day before he did catch a beauty of a fish... but that was the shot I missed...
Wow! a great capture Amy :) Glad you had a great time, looking forward to seeing your pics.

@MaryB: Thanks oodles Mary! I've got a loon series coming up as well... my patience seemed to have worked for me this time! LOL
Captured so well, its unmistakeable a classic Ospry shot. There very rare over here, and stay in the wilderness, and usually a long trek from the nearest road, so its great to see your shot.

@Richard_Irwin: Hey Richard!! Glad you liked it! This lake was a plethora of bird life. From the barn swallows feeding on the bugs over the lake every morning to ducks to loons to osprey to eagles. Magical place. But I totally missed THE best eagle shot ever... was up at the cabin looking out the window when it flew over the lake in the morning light. You can image what that looked like... sigh... much cursing in an unlady like manner... LOL
Nice action shot.

@Laurie: Thanks Laurie!! Still trying to catch up again... should be visiting you soon.. ;-)
Lovely shot.

@priya: Thanks! Really appreciate that.. ;-)
Funny - I think I like this one better than yesterday's, although I have no doubt that yesterday's capture was the more difficult...at any rate, both very well done...

@Walt: Thanks Walt!! The difficult thing was just trying to stay focused and not screw up!!! LOL But actually, of the two this one was more difficult as he was then more so on the move and then I had to start doing that dreaded panning.
You utter champion...Green with envy yet mildly aroused by the thought you actually experienced this magnificent event unfolding in front of your very eyes. Bravo and kudos for the patience. *bows respectfully*

@Sashmo Au.go.go: THANK YOU!! What kills me is that when this osprey was fishing the day before when he caught a fish and I TOTALLY missed that shot... everyone on the beach missed seeing it but me. I accept your bravo and kudos for the patience but the patience in all likelihood came from the Bailey's in the coffee (head hangs in slight contrition). And yes it was beyond breath taking watching this bird... it's burned in my memory banks... I hope my early senility won't lose it..
yo cutes--one in-one out--great timing on these last 2 babies--impressive work cleverclogs--billy
