Cute But Stupid

It was the light not the clarity that drew me to this image. The dof is shallow but the fuzziness to it just speaks to me. Yeah, I'm just shallow!! LOL

Thats a shot that works for me too. Its very delicate, and has a painterly feel to it.

It is great light. I think I would have preferred to see the focus on the point of the stem - hard to say without a direct comparison though.

@Roberta: You do have a point. With the shallow dof it would have been so much different with the focus on the stem.. hmmm... must go find another one in the spring.

Wonderful - i had some of these nearby (i have an obsession with blue flowers anyway) i took some photos of them but now i must throw them all away because your capture just takes my breath away.
