blue bellPosted by amy (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 3 October 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. It was the light not the clarity that drew me to this image. The dof is shallow but the fuzziness to it just speaks to me. Yeah, I'm just shallow!! LOL You can view my gallery of images and calendar for sale at: cute but stupid . I'm slowly adding more to the site and if there is something in my portfolio you would like to purchase but is not available on my site just contact me and I'll make it available. I appreciate all visits and comments and thank you always... ;-)

I love the blue against the black. 3 Oct 2007 3:29pm @Laurie: That's one of the reasons I so love the shallow dof... you can get great backgrounds. Thanks Laurie! Really loved your scarecrow series!! @badala: ;-) yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, GreeceI like very much how you use the dof - excellent 3 Oct 2007 6:27pm @yiannis krikis: Thanks yiannis!! So good to know there are others who are as shallow!! LOL Roberta from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaIt is great light. I think I would have preferred to see the focus on the point of the stem - hard to say without a direct comparison though. 3 Oct 2007 6:45pm @Roberta: You do have a point. With the shallow dof it would have been so much different with the focus on the stem.. hmmm... must go find another one in the spring.
