Wonder if you guys are going to have the same weird winter you did last year? I heard on the news that 60yr old records were broken with your temps in the 30's. Thanks Robert!! Selective colouring is one of my favourite tricks. Amir from ?, IranReally nice focus, not to mention the colors. Amazing all around. Thanks for sharing the forum info, is it in any form related to Animus3 here? If yes, why it need separate login info? 9 Oct 2007 2:16am @Amir: Hey Amir! The forum was started by Am3 members but isn't from Am3. That's why the seperate log-in. The forum is still trying to get really going. There are around 30+ members but more are needed. Especially those with PS skills who can post tutorials. Thanks Amir, and I do hope you join!! Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesA stunning capture... i looked up tilt & shift for photoshop & it seems to make images look toy like. Your image does not seem like that. I do like the technique you used but i think i am not understanding. Is the tilt you are using in photoshop? Are you making a mask and blurring the top? Cheers, 9 Oct 2007 2:36am @Rabbit: Hi Rabbit! Yes, the tilt I'm using is in PS. Part of it's using the lens blur. Really all it's doing is using the mask mode and gradient to tell PS where you want the blur and the lens blur to tell PS how much etc. I have posted the technique on the Am3 Forum.( http://aminus3members.freeforums.org/portal.php?sid=caa5e0314fef8d31acaa66de07c163f1) It's just really important as to the image you use; you don't want any 3 dimensional aspects to it. Thanks Rabbit so much!! Do love your pottery... and pink hair!! Had a great holiday and now it's all downhill 'till Christmas... sigh.. LOL Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaVery nice and interesting work! I definitely need to know how to do that! 9 Oct 2007 3:20am @Stunner: Thanks Stunner!! Are you talking about the Tilt Technique? If so just check out the Am3 Forum (http://aminus3members.freeforums.org/portal.php?sid=caa5e0314fef8d31acaa66de07c163f1). You can read the tutorials/techniques without joining but you can't post (I believe)etc without joining up. @Daroru: Thanks Daroru!! Stu from Kyoto, JapanWow. This is an eye-catcher for sure. Great pp and effective use of colour. Very nice indeed. 11 Oct 2007 9:09am @Stu: Thanks Stu!! ;-) yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greecenice work amy I like very much this combination b&w with color 11 Oct 2007 4:39pm @yiannis krikis: One of my other favourite techniques... selective colouring.
