the neck at neck point..

I took this at my favourite place in Nanaimo called Neck Point Park. Again I used the tilt technique.... just can't help myself!!

Tilt shift is best used for aerial or semi aeriall photography. But these are equally nice.

Nice reaaaaaaaaaal nice !!! I guess cause I would not venture up those DEATH stairs yesterday , now you're trying to get me to stand neat the SPOOKY lake .... well I have seen ALLIGATORS 1 through 20 , LMAO !! and many other such films and I know if I stand here long enough as soon as I turn away from the water I'M DOOOMED !!! and I thought we were PALS ! Geez ;o) ...lol

This one's kind of weird. I can't decide if this is a big spit of land, or a tiny little channel. The ripples in the water are nice as is the B&W conversion.

Interesting technique. There was a time when I thought about getting a "Lens Baby" to shoot tilt shift images, but I didn't think it would be worth the $$. I knew a few people who had them, and used them a lot at first but then lost interest in them and now they sit in their cases. This is a good way to experiment and determine if it would be worth getting one or not.

I like the technique you used here. I remember using a 5X4 camera to tilt/shift when I was a photography student many years ago. I've looked at the lens-babies, but not bought one. Your results look excellent, and great fun too, so maybe I should try the technique again..

Ah the tilt technique! I knew there was something unusual about this one, I just couldn't get a handle on the scale here. Nicely done Amy!
