cat tails 3Posted by amy (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 6 November 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. You know, once I find a new technique I must experiment with it ad nauseum. I love making these images look like old lith images as well as giving them that look of scraping through frost on a window. And that trick is easy. Just make a solid colour layer and using your brush tool (set to normal) rub down to the layer below. Experiment with brushes to get the effect you want. And so it has begun at work... the insane season has begun and will run until about February. Really. This is the time of year our member's sell their calves and make their fall payments. So all files that hit everyone else's desk will eventually find their way to mine.... about 450 of them. Honest!! And tomorrow night I'll be working late as we have a survey we must complete. Sigh... no rest for the wicked... apparently I've been extremely naughty. LOL Again, will catch up as I can... and you know I do get around 'cause I hate missing your posts!!! Thank you so much for all your wonderful words of encouragement. You can view my gallery of images and calendar for sale at: cute but stupid . I'm slowly adding more to the site and if there is something in my portfolio you would like to purchase but is not available on my site just contact me and I'll make it available. I appreciate all visits and comments and thank you always... ;-)
