Lovely Amy! Reminds me so much of where I used to live - I miss the rockies even though we have mountains here. And, that coldness is such a dry cold that doesn't go right through your winter jacket like it does here with the dampness. Just as cold I feel when it gets to -2 C here, as I was in Alberta at -20 C. Thank you for your post on my Halloween graphic - the little UFO was funny I thought too! ;-)
PS. Thanks for the info about Lost Valley

Dropping by for a quick HELLO!!!! What a most beautiful image!!! I am taking about 15 mins to enjoy a little quiet time and wanted to stop by. I just love the way the trees are covered in snow-or is that horror frost that I am so used to? Sure do miss your wonderful work!

Lovely winter vista, Amy. It's on it's way here. I can feel it in the air. It smelled like snow today, but it didn't.

Is that this winters snow? Looks like lovely fresh fall.
9 Nov 2007 9:40pm
@Will Williams: Hi Will! This winter scene was taken in February 2005. And because it was so damn cold it has that fresh fallen look. Thanks so much for your visit!
Beautiful, for sure...I see a whole lot of trekking being done in those parts. :)
