better days..

Still working on the kitchen project. I've got the first coat of paint on... sigh.. now I'll have to put a second coat. I have a feeling this is going to last forever!!! Oh well, guess I'll go to work for a rest! LOL Took this shot at Big Valley. I added a layer of an image of snow and ice then added a bit of diffuse glow.

@Jen: I'm just painting the insides of them right now... which is a hell of chore in itself. Took me all weekend to get the primer on and the first coat of melamine... I've almost decided on a very creamy colour called Mellow Yellow for the cabinets and a darker colour for the walls called Mango. Thanks Jen!!! You're the best! ;-)

I, too, prefer this one. However, the white tone is a tad too Sam Kenison for me (he writes, imagining Sam screaming into his left ear). Methinks the contrast needs a fraction more black power (raises fist). Other than that, another shit-hot adaptation, Aimes. ;)

@The Amazing Kevin (Returneth): You are right about it needing more black. I tried to do just that but I think I'm missing some step because as I tried to adjust for that I was losing the integrity of the rest of the image. So gave up. (read here was too bloody from banging head against monitor and blood was marring my vision).
