Hey Kids!!! I'm baaaaccckkkk!!!! WOOHOO!! My shoulder is finally about 95% better. Basically what happened was that a nerve was hit when I received the cortisone injection. I couldn't even touch my head for 2 weeks which is tantamount to complete disaster as my hair is a 2 hand job! LOL So because of that I couldn't even get any new shots as it's a tad difficult to hold a camera without the use of both limbs. Then my laptop died. I tell ya, sometimes my life is a bit of a cluster! LOL However, we had decided to get a new computer. It's just that our timing was off in that with the Christmas season everything takes so much longer. Add onto that the skoocum computer we ordered spelled a longer wait. Oh and it had to come all the way from Austin, Texas, and find it's way to small town Alberta. Now let's mention the fact that although I had tried to backup most of my images some of the new stuff I had is still on the old computer and not backed up. Oh oh oh, let's now discuss how the disc full of some of my favourite stuff seems to be blank!!!! Oy vey!! Curse curse curse. I have no idea what the heck happened. I know that after I burned the disc I checked to make sure all the files were there but... apparently, I was wrong. But all is not lost as I can retrieve these files off the old computer once it's either fixed or at least returned to me. If warranty won't cover the repairs (a new mother board) then I'll have the tech make the old hard drive into an external hard drive for me. I'm just so happy to be back. Thank you so much everyone for all the well wishes. Now I must try to catch up with all of you to see what I've missed. Although I've got this skoocum new computer I'm still dial-up (oh the horror LOL) so it will be slow going.
