I guess I'm doing a small dead flower series (see yesterday's post for the first and the big explaination for where the hell I've been for the last 4 weeks). I've been trying to catch up with everyone's posts that I've missed and will slowly get there... as fast as my dial-up will allow. Thanks to all of my Am3 buds for hanging in there 'till I could get back to the community!!! And may I also say a very belated Happy New Year!!! (better late than never, eh!!!)
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

Grimy, gritty, great! Like the brown tones here too.
Welcome back Amy. Take it easy on that shoulder and good luck with the new computer!

Oooo! a beautiful effect here, I love it Amy :) Glad to hear that your on the mend, things have been a little on the mad side here too, and I'm hoping that everything is back to normal (although I have my doubts LOL :D ) I almost forgot to say "welcome back"

Hi Amy...I've missed you and your beautiful photos.
I like this one more than yeaterday's shot as I think the extra grainy layer that you've added really compliments the texture of the dead flower. The tones are exquisite!

Hi Amy, welcome back kiddo, missed you.
I wonder what a shrink would say about this one :)
Glad you're back.

The image evokes an emotionally drained and exhausted feel...can give no more. Is that how you feel? come sit on my couch and explain LOL!!!!!!!
Yes I am forever the optimist, drives people crazy too...which of course I like too hee hee!!!

this is a cool effect - I've been trying to do more textured layered images. This one works well. Welcome back and happy 2008!

Outstanding work amy! This is a very "telling" photo for all citizens of the burn-out generation/nation.

Hi Amy! Big hugs and glad you and up and running again! I haven't done anything either(: But looking at a few blogs is getting my motor running again! I love the processing on this one - really good work - but the subject matter is a little dark for my taste! I need to see things that are growing again lol!

Belated Happy New Year to you too, Amy!! And WELCOME BACK !!!! Wow, it’s so good to see you back again, well and whole, words are not quite adequate to describe how good. I’ve missed you, and I’ve missed your absolutely STUPENDOUS art. And WOW again, truly a staggeringly awesome series to return with, my friend. I love the cone flower image from yesterday, but I’m just completely bowled over by the tones and processing in this one. Utterly FIRST-CLASS image, utterly FIRST-CLASS treatment. Tihs is gritty reality in all its fullness. Truly exceptional work.
