...fluffier

What I did: Opened the main image of the birds then made a duplicate layer, desaturated the duplicate layer and set the blend mode to soft light (which gives this really cool effect of sharpening the colours and details), then added a new image layer of a shot of the river with chunks of ice floating. Did a curves adjustment, cropped it a bit.
