open reflection..Posted by amy (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 11 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Whew... another one from Banff... I did take over 90 frames. Don't worry I've only got a couple more up my sleeve! LOL I did agonize over this post. I tried different crops because of the snow in the lower right but everything I tried just didn't seem to have the same impact this one did to me. Because the weather is pretty much a Canadian obsession and I've been whining so much about it lately I thought I'd include this factoid Dan the man found in a magazine about the coldest temp recorded for all of North America: From Harrowsmith Country Life February 2008 issue it says that "the lowest temp ever recorded in Canada (in fact, all of North America): -81.4F (-62C) at Snag, Yukon, February 3, 1947. Upon exhaling, human breath would hiss and create a vapour trail that would linger for three or four minutes." 'Nuff said. You can view my gallery of images and calendar for sale at: cute but stupid . I'm slowly adding more to the site and if there is something in my portfolio you would like to purchase but is not available on my site just contact me and I'll make it available. I appreciate all visits and comments and thank you always... ;-)
