something new..

It's really warming up and almost all of the snow is gone. That is until we get a spring blizzard LOL!! In the mean time, I was able to scope out some pussy willows making the bid for new life.

Well! its just a case of "Wait a minute" there isn't it Amy? Have you had any decent Chinooks blow in and warm things up this winter at all? It was just like Spring here for a day or two - but last night got very, very cold and windy. I had to get up and close my bedroom window. My sons were in town here for the weekend and I had to phone them and tell them not to go home to Vernon via the Coquahalla! Extremely dangerous and the alternate routes to the Okanagon suggested. It was snowing and hailing outside the Global TV station somewhere over in New Westminster area. Unbelievable in this neck of the woods. Never known a strange winter here like it!!!

Anyway, I do love your photo! So well composed and I like the depth of field/focus on the furry pussy willows. You always manage to compose a great pic out of just a couple of simple elements! ;-)
