I'm digging through the archives again. Reminiscing. A couple years ago a robin family built their nest in a spruce tree where the branch hung over our back deck. We tried to keep our distance from this little family as the parents took turns warming their eggs then keeping the babies fed when they hatched. Although I was itching to take copious pictures of their everyday activity I gave them their space and only intruded on one day when one of the robins was nestled in the nest.
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

I saw one robin two weeks ago and then not another. I guess they zipped over the Rockies.

What a precious capture Amy. We have Robins but they are nesting out of sight. They have been known to make their nests in some strange places, in boots or watering cans and no doubt in even stranger places.

Ah sweet! I think I heard a robin yesterday morning. But it could have been a Starling imitating a robin. I did see some large flocks of geese flying way up high yesterday going to RD.
