forgotten

Another view of the house from the last couple posts. I wanted the house out of focus so focused on the foreground.

I must apologize... sigh, again... for not being able to get around. Same reasons apply: work, work, and, yes, work. That can be such a nasty four letter word!! LOL I will catch up.

Beautiful... The out of focus quality really makes the house feel really forelorn... Please don't drown in work! I hope it gets better.

Don't apologize Amy! It happens to anyone - even me who doesn't go out to work! All the time in fact. The photo is another great compostion and exposure. Your f stop was spot on to blur the background! OMG you got great mileage out of this one house didn't you? Did you decide not to go any further once you saw that old house? Tee Hee!

I am in the same boat. Trying to catch up. The more comments, the more time. But who is complaining. Another wonderful picture. The roof is almost gone!! You won't find many old building like that here, so keep snapping. The sun is just coming out, so I think we are going to have another beautiful day.

Luvs the"feel" of this image cutes...the foreground grasses give it an almost 3D effect,pal...top blurring No1...
b.t.w...I checked out Sidney's music tonight ...cool music ...I particularly liked "fallin".....b.t.w.what a piece of graphic artwork she's used.*-)..

I'm just getting around to catching up myself. I really like your series with the house the last few days.
I've never really experimented much with a shallow depth of field, But the more I see of work like this, the more I think I will give it a try because I certainly like the outcome. Nice work on the processing also Amy, it all came together so well.
