It's snowing. A lot. Spring time in the Rockies... Woo Hoo!! And it's supposed to last until mid next week. Again... Woo Hoo. NOT!! Grabbed my camera after work last night and snuck up on the robins. Fortunately, they were more concerned about digging up worms than they were about me. I took about 50 shots of them... hey, it's a digital camera you can just go crazy!! I'm hoping to sneak up on the geese down on the pond that I've been hearing everyday. Wish me luck!!
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

poor little robins. Great collage Amy. It is hailing here right now and it is sticking. Earlier this evening we had a lightening and thunder storm. The poor birds and flowers. I'm not sure what to think of this lovely weather.

Ahhh...Amy. My heart goes out to you and the robins. I guess it is difficult to find worms in a frozen ground!

OMG! Snowing for the next week! I tell my friends about you guys up there. The lady at the grocery store was complaining about our weather cooling off to the mid 60s this weekend. I told her that I stopped complaining about our weather after hearing the stories you and others have told about Canada. :0) Love your robins and wish you warmth!!!

I love these little guys. They are so plump. Sorry about the weather, I know you had your hopes up there for a bit. If it makes you feel better, we are having the opposite effect. It's been in the 90's the last couple days. Soon it will be too hot to go outdoors. Too bad we can't mix the two together, What a nice blend that would be.

Even the birds look cold here =D( I hope the spring shows up soon. We've had a week of beautiful blue skies and fluffy clouds (I will be posting some proof soon) followed by a week of ice, hail and torrential rain!

Nice montage of shots. You're so lucky with the snow, it's just wet and windy over here, not half as much fun or as picturesque!

Nice work Amy, hard life for the birds.

Lovely composite Amy. Robins seem like such pretty little birds. I have never seen one. Don't wish away the snow. You're lucky to have such varied environments to shoot in!

@bronzebilly u.k.: Yup! Still wanna go... they don't get down to -30C. The ocean is there and mountains. It's green all year round, as when it does snow it melts very quickly - kinda like you guys.
Ha! That poor bird looks utterly miserable. Very nice collection.
