Hey kids!! I'm back. Had a great but quick little trip down to Calgary, Bassano, and Medicine Hat. Didn't get a lot of opportunity to go shooting but we did get to the first of the car shows in Calgary called Spring Thaw. That's where this shot came from. It's the hood ornament off an old Pontiac. Didn't write which car or what year... just know it's a Pontiac. Took a few hood ornament shots which I will be posting. And the ISO 400 is because I'd forgotten to change it after some dusk shots I had taken the night before at my sister's... also to be posted.
Ok, if you'll note the exif data it's showing my new camera. I broke the bank and bought the Nikon D300. HOLY CRAP!! This is THE most amazing camera. And it was torture not being able to really run it through a full shoot session. It's going to take a bit before I really have a fix on it's abilities but am REALLY looking forward to giving it my best shot (pun intended!!).
I'm training another new girl at work... so again time is becoming a factor. It's this damn dial-up at home... grumble grumble.. but I will be catching up soon. THANK YOU for all your visits and comments.
