My niece Kailey, again. It's not perfectly sharp but I really like how it gives it a slight softness.
Roberta and I were somewhat successful in our quest for birds. We did find some swans. Not the numbers we were lead to believe, though. I will be posting them soon. We were gone all day in our backroad travels so again I'm behind in visiting... and today I'm off to Calgary again. This trip to Calgary is to see/hear my friend's daughter sing (Sidney York for whom I did the album cover for).
Thank you all so much for your comments and visits.
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

Hi Amy, Happy belated birthday and congratulations on the new camera, I like what you've done with it so far. I guess the pioneer woman is leading the way again. Happy shooting.

I think the softness works really well, and the tones add to the overall effect.

I love the image the way it is. Who says a good image must be clear?

Sweet indeed and you're right, the slight blur is perfect for it!

@Jen: Hey!! We're on at the same time! It actually was a songwriter's competition where they performed their own songs. It was really fantastic and Brandi WON!!! I/We are so proud of her. She won "best up and coming song writer" and now will compete for best song in Alberta. She'll also be singing at the Calgary Folk Festival in July. Thanks my girl... sorry I've been a bit MIA... am trying to catch up... huff puff huff puff. LOL
I agree the softness is what make this shot so lovely and warm. Great job with this portrait picture.
