Following yesterday's theme here's another macro of a little bit of spring trying to happen. As it really is, though, we've had a really nasty spring snow storm. About 30cm have fallen. They closed our office yesterday morning and sent us all home because the roads were just getting more treacherous. NASTY. Brought some work home with me to do (still working on the Procedures Manual) and the power went out.... for 8 HOURS!!! Tried to use my laptop but unfortunately the battery doesn't last very long; about 1 1/2 hrs. So here I am 8:15pm trying to get online and get some visiting etc done. However, with any luck, this snow storm will hopefully negate our usual May long weekend dump!! LOL!!
I so appreciate all the incredible responses to yesterday's post!! I bow to this great community of support and encouragement we affectionately call Am3!!
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

Another delightful capture of raindrops caught in the evening sun. I can't believe that it is still snowing there. That's just rude. No, I am happy to report that the weather here has been just beautiful. Sunny and warm. Shirt sleeve and shorts weather. Hurry down.

Wow! you did get a lot of wonderful posts yesterday - and well deserved too! The water drops in this with the light on them are just fantastic. So sorry to hear of your power-out and big snow dump. Well! that is Alberta for you! There is usually one last big dump at this time of year - then you will walk right into summer. Although in the past I remember being able to sunbathe on my porch in March when a Chinook wind blew in! But the way you have had it that doesn't seem to happen anymore! As I recall we really only had two seasons - Winter and Summer! And think of those beautiful big blue skies in Alberta - you'll get sick of cloud when you move to BC!! ;-)
