This is how the Pasque-Flower looks open.
It's been most splendiferously beautiful weather-wise here in central Alberta. Looks like spring is firmly in place for this Victoria Day long weekend. Highs in the upper +20C's. Gotta get me some sunscreen!! LOL So here's to a safe and wonderful Victoria Day long weekend basking in the sun and tossing back a few cold brews!!!
Just tell me what you think. I'm a big girl.... I won't cry for long. ;-)

I've missed you too! But I'm back...perhaps not quite as often as before, but hopefully better in some ways. Finally the brain is getting better, and I have some time to do some fun stuff. Your shots are great - love the framing!

If anything I prefer this version to the previous one. The petals complete the picture for me! What do you think?
17 May 2008 3:57pm
@Ian Bramham: You are right about the petals completing the picture... but it's the abstractness of the deep macro that pulls me in. And sorry I've been a little absent again. Will catch-up with your posts. And Ian... thank you always for your support and encouragement in your comments but also for inspiring posts.. truly!!
Amy, this is wonderful. I like it even better than yesterday's. So you are finally having a heat wave.....so are we. Isn't it nice.
