worming in..Posted by amy (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 5 July 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. I took the robin part of this image at our friend's llama farm in Victoria. Couldn't believe my luck in capturing this robin with the worms in its mouth. I layered it with a texture image I took back in Rocky at the Historic Park of a bison hide stretched out drying in the sun (they were demonstrating how the natives did it). I just love how it gives this image such an abstract yet almost folk art look. And actually, the post I did on Wednesday of the bleeding heart was also layered with the bison hide image for the texture. It's amazing what will work for texture. You can view my gallery of images and calendar for sale at: cute but stupid . I'm slowly adding more to the site and if there is something in my portfolio you would like to purchase but is not available on my site just contact me and I'll make it available. I appreciate all visits and comments and thank you always... ;-)
