beauty in old

So once again I've been having issues with my computer... sigh.. LOL!! I had been working on quite a few new images however my computer kept crashing. I'm in the process of trying to remember what I did so hopefully I will have a bit of a new series. I've since done a recovery on my laptop... which has taken quite a few days to accomplish with transferring over 85GB of images to the external hard drive then making sure everything else was backed up and hoping I hadn't missed anything. So now I'm running with a fairly fast laptop again which isn't crashing. My new strategy is not to fill up the laptop's hard drive with my images anymore but to just have everything on the external. But criminey what a chore this whole process was!! LOL!!

Amy, this is beautiful! The red comes through so well, but not overpowering. The texture gives that 'oil on canvas' feel. Beautiful work!

Ugh! Sorry to hear about your continued computer problems. I've got 2 externals and it's time for a DROBO...soon, very soon.

This is a beautiful image.

I recently went to a "Deserted Village" with abandoned houses and through one of the windows I could see a mural on one of the walls. The textures in this image remind me of the worn mural. I took a photo of the mural through the broken window and it will be posting on Friday of this week. Or you can cheat and see it here.

Beautifully done Amy. Computer problems can be such a pain as if we don't have enough problems with all this crazy snow. I keep losing my internet connection.

I know what you mean about computers...had to get a new laptop this Christmas instead of the macro lens I really wanted wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
