At Neck Point Park (Nanaimo) the bird life is amazing. Needless to say, I snapped away happily hoping to get something worthwhile.

I so appreciate all the comments I receive and thank you sincerely. With summer being in full swing, I'm not able to keep up with responses. Please forgive me for not responding to all comments but come the cold weather I'll have more time again to devote to responding. Thank you so much for your visits and amazing encouragement.

Nice one Amy, i did the bird yesterday LOL!!! You got this one really good, trust me shooting the birds is one of the most difficult one, it really requires several takes before you can find something close like this one here. Well done. Have a great weekend pal.

Ken McCoy from Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United States

A perfect capture! Why do think there is so much noise in the shadows?

13 Jul 2007 11:23pm

@Ken McCoy: I was shooting at 500 ISO against a fairly bright sky... had been trying to shoot hummingbirds when I turned and saw this eagle. Didn't change the ISO when I started shooting... ;-)
