Avalanche Tunnel

This is my take on one of the avalanche tunnels when coming through Glacier National Park to the Roger's Pass. I've travelled through these tunnels since I was a child and always love going through them.

NIKON D70 1/60 second F/3.5 ISO 200 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

Beautiful shot.

My inner photo-geek wonders... The color range reminds me of some shots in arc-sodium lighting with daylight white balance. Did you achieve the blue effect with the white-balance setting of the camera, or did you do it in post?

@Matt Trujillo Photography: I did it all in post. It was already a fairly interesting shot but I wanted to knock it up a notch. Always tinkering.. that's me!! LOL

@bronzebilly u.k.: Well, billy, you know that after I invented the wheel and discovered fire (or was it the other way around.. getting addled in my old age).... I had to do something fairly spectacular. Voila! Tunnels!! I told Moses all about tunnels but .. well.. you know HIS story!
