feather light...

Posted by amy (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 21 February 2008 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

So when I took that shot from day before yesterday, "what lies between", I also found a feather caught on a branch. Ok, ok, the only reason I found that spider web was because I was staring at the feather stumbling along in the snow and "bumped" into the branch that had the spider web... but never losing sight of the feather. Yes, my middle name is Grace!! NOT! LOL I wanted to sharpen the colour and contrast with this image as it was a bit tricky with the light etc I had to contend with so I did the duplicate layer thing, desaturated the duplicate, then set the blend mode to soft light. Man, that works so slick for some images.
