worming in..

I took the robin part of this image at our friend's llama farm in Victoria. Couldn't believe my luck in capturing this robin with the worms in its mouth. I layered it with a texture image I took back in Rocky at the Historic Park of a bison hide stretched out drying in the sun (they were demonstrating how the natives did it). I just love how it gives this image such an abstract yet almost folk art look. And actually, the post I did on Wednesday of the bleeding heart was also layered with the bison hide image for the texture. It's amazing what will work for texture.
