I'm sorry I didn't catch up with everyone as I'd hoped... long phone call with friend and paper work from work kept me occupied for longer than was planned. Best laid plans and all that... ;-)

I love your style. I've got tons of red-wing blackbird photos and they're all kind of same-old, same-old. This is unique. If I remember right, I believe you've caught a female.

@Bookfool: Hey Bookfool!! The female is actually brown with stripes and a white streak over its' eye. It's the typical bird species thing... the males' have all the flash! LOL!! Thanks as always!
